Bible Devotional ‘Rhapsody’ Translation Hits 7000 Languages

The awe-inspiring bible devotional and messenger angel, Rhapsody of Realities, published by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (DSc. DD) has exceeded a landmark 7,000 thousand translations and this feat was luxuriantly celebrated by Christ Embassy Lagos Zone 2, today.

Rhapsody, also described as a messenger-angel, is in its 22nd year in print with several billion copies making it the best-selling daily devotional and bible study guide distributed in 242 countries and territories globally.

Besides the ambience of glory and bliss witnessed at the event today, the occasion was further beautified by participants who adorned aesthetic green and white attires in commemoration of Nigeria’s Independence Day celebration.

Speaking at the press conference, the Esteemed Zonal Director of Christ Embassy Lagos Zone 2, Pastor (Dr.) Emeka Eze described Rhapsody as a perfect guide to help study the bible, even as he inspired more sponsors for the best-selling devotional.

Indeed hope wells for Nigeria, especially in Lagos, as the Zonal Director revealed that as part of activities to mark the Reach Out Nigeria celebration, the entire month of October will record an impactful door-to-door Rhapsody evangelism campaign as the messenger-angels will be diligently distributed across the Zone’s catchment area.

“There is a power behind Rhapsody of Realities and it’s the power of the one almighty God. Everyone acknowledges that there is one almighty God and that is the God that we are introducing to everybody with Rhapsody.”

“You’ll never see an animal that wants to worship, they weren’t made that way. But God created humans and put His spirit in them, so even those who say they don’t believe in God find themselves joining one group or union because there is a longing in the heart of man that yearns for the supernatural,” he said.

Subsequently, Pastor Emeka led new converts to accept Jesus Christ as the Lord of their lives and prayed specially for them.

Giving the welcome address earlier, the Zonal Head of Operations, Pastor (Mrs.) Ese Eze thanked the sponsors of Rhapsody for the amazing work and admonished them to be unrelenting in advancing the spread of the gospel.

She called for bolder and bigger sponsorship of translations and distribution to avail everyone an opportunity to receive the gospel in a language that he or she understands.

The event also showcased awe-inspiring testimonies about healings, financial blessings and other miracles from the use of Rhapsody as the brethren and guests were inspired to do more in sponsorship and distribution of the world’s best-selling book.

Also speaking at the conference, the Zonal Head of Teens Ministry, Pastor Sharon Ajide harped on the need to prioritize propagation of the gospel to teenagers in Lagos, noting that teenagers will be better positioned as assets to the world when inundated with the word of God.

She informed delegates about the Teevolution Campaign which is a strategic plan to reach teenagers with the specially packaged Rhapsody of Realities for Teenagers (Teevo).

Stakeholders from the Nigeria Police Force, Lagos State Neighborhood Safety Corps and other professionals from various sectors graced the occasion and expressed commitment to participate in sponsoring and distributing Rhapsody of Realities.
