The National Association of Nigerian Students has said that it will continue to hold street protests, until the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) calls off its 14-week-old strike. The group said this on Thursday during its peaceful protest at the entrance of the Federal Secretariat in Calabar, Cross River State. Worried the numerous press statements by executives of the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) and consequent conflicts in the sector, the National President of the NAGAFF, Hon. Tochukwu Ezisi, has directed all national and chapter executives to stop indiscriminate issuance of press releases. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has been solidifying its structure ahead of the 2023 presidential polls with the winner of the PDP primaries, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar holding parleys with the Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike. NLNG Ship Management Limited (NSML) and EA Temile & Sons Development Company Limited on 25th May 2022 signed an agreement for supervision of the construction of a new-build 23,000 cubic metre LPG vessel at the Hyundai Mipo shipyard in South Korea. The new-build LPG vessel is a sister vessel to the LPG Alfred Temile. NSML will be responsible for supervising the vessel’s construction at the Hyundai Mipo shipyard in Korea.
