    Nigeria’s Minister of Transportation, Mu’Azu Jaji Sambo, turns 63 years today and transport industry stakeholders and operators have poured out eulogies.

    As Sambo marks his birthday today, News Diet takes an in-depth look as some of his characteristics and his journey through public service that has seen him evolve into an astute administrator and an exemplary leader.

    Transport Minister 'Sambo' @63: Celebrating An Inspiring Leader

    Virgos are often good leaders because of their ability to think of the bigger picture. They are able to inspire others to their goals, which makes them effective managers and company leaders.

    On the outside, virgos are humble, self-effacing, industrious, and practical, but under the surface, they are frequently natural, kind, and sympathetic, as befits their zodiac sign. Virgoans are methodical and quick thinkers, yet they have so much mental energy that they are frequently stressed and tense. These are some amazing traits of Engr. Sambo.

    Sambo heads the administration of the nation’s transport sector and transportation in Nigeria is plagued by numerous challenges, but even in his early weeks as Transport Minister, News Diet has observed his honest responses and patriotic assessment of critical infrastructure and policies have made him an amiable Minister.

    Our celebrant is someone who takes praises with a pinch of salt but endears himself to criticisms in a bid to improve his performance. He wouldn’t stop anyone who has a contrary opinion from airing it and he’s also not easily swayed by praises.

    As friends and associates celebrate the minister, he is described as a detribalized Nigerian, whose commitment to nation building is worthy of commendation, his passion to better the lives of people is notable.

    Remarked as an active listener, a jolly good fellow, a humourist, a team player, philanthropist Generalissimo, an avid reader, highly methodical, principled and vast, Sambo is extolled for his utmost courtesy towards everyone he meets.

    He is known for discharging his duty passionately and without fear or favour, but with a consciousness of doing the right thing at all times.

    Felicitating with the Minister, his Senior Assistant on Media and Publicity, Dr. Sam Idiagbonya, writes;

    “Today, we join friends, family, well-wishers, and Staff to wish the Honourable Minister of Transportation, Mu’azu Jaji Sambo, a happy 63rd birthday.”

    “We pray for peace, health, wisdom and long life as he, on behalf of President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR leads the country’s transportation sector to an enviable height.”

    “We pray for wisdom as he discharges his duties daily. May the Almighty Allah daily be his encourager and succour, may God keep and preserve you sir.”

    “Happy Birthday not as a poetic rhyme, but gratitude to the Almighty God for the years spent and hopes for the years to come.”

    “Age gracefully dear Honourable Minister of Transportation. Congratulations Sir.”
