“They have been able to drastically increase Nigeria’s oil production through effective monitoring and policing the country’s oil pipelines and other oil facilities,” he said.
Tantita’s Executive Director, Technical and Operations, Capt. Warredi Enisouh, “Nigeria have never been seen in this light here. We are currently overwhelmed and swarmed with people who want to hear our story,” he noted.
Meanwhile, Sea Empowerment Research Centre (SEREC) has also applauded Tantita’s determination to rebrand and reposition itself as a leader in tackling security and environmental concerns in the Niger Delta region.
In a recent statement, the Head of Research at SEREC, Chief Eugene Nweke, said it is not also surprising that stakeholders continuously commend Tantita’s efforts in thinking national home safety and security first of the Nigerian maritime industry, thus, attracting increased support and collaboration in the future.
“It must be stated that, at the long run, the development seems promising for the well being of the Tantita, Nigeria, and the Niger Delta region.
“At SEREC, this development has some potential benefits to reference to, because it is obvious that Tantita’s determination and participation in the global scene as seen at OTC 2025 could trigger massive benefits, including increased global visibility and partnering with international collaborators at the event.
“Tantita can leverage their expertise and resources to enhance its operations and impact. The company’s efforts to tackle crude oil theft and security concerns over the years can contribute to a more stable and secure environment in the nation’s creeks, especially, in the Niger Delta region.
“By addressing environmental issues promptly, Tantita can help mitigate the negative impacts of oil exploration and production on the nation’s ecosystem in general, even as its success can also contribute to Nigeria’s economic growth by protecting the country’s oil assets and promoting a more stable business environment,” the research group stated.
