The Western Zone of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA), in partnership with the Nigeria Table Tennis Federation (NTTF), is thrilled to announce its first-ever Annual Table Tennis Tournament, scheduled to take place on December 6th and 7th, 2024.
According to ANLCA, a grand prize of N10 million has been set aside for the winner of the the competition which will hold at the NOT BAD SPORTS ARENA, 12 Dele Olupona Street, Egbeda, opposite Faith Academy, Gowon Estate.
“The tournament promises an engaging competition designed to foster unity and camaraderie among key players in the maritime, aviation, and border sectors. This unique event will bring together government agencies, industry stakeholders, and sports enthusiasts alike, providing a platform for networking and friendly competition to close out the year on a high note.
“Participants in this inaugural tournament will include representatives from the Nigeria Customs Service, Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Nigerian Shippers’ Council, Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA), Terminal Operators, Shipping Companies, Bonded Terminal Operators, and more.
Each organization is invited to send a team of four players to represent them in this exciting event.
While the Comptroller General, Nigeria Customs Service, Adewale Adeniyi MFR, plays the role it Special Guest of Honour, the Chief Host of the event is Prince Segun Oduntan, ANLCA National Vice President, and Mr. Femi Anifowoshe, Zonal Coordinator, West, ANLCA plays the role of Co-Host.
