The book presentation, which will hold at the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA), Victoria Island, Lagos, is expected to attract dignitaries including the Executive Secretary/CEO of Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC), Barr. Akutah Pius Ukeyima.
The 13-chapter book highlights the good, bad and ugly of Nigerian maritime industry with operational activities of PSTT and other sundry issues bothering on the nation’s seaports.
Under his watch as Coordinator General of PSTT, the Port Standing Task Team has been credited with several achievements aimed at reducing corruption and bottlenecks created at the nation’s seaports.
The activities of the PSTT focused on three cardinal areas; joint boarding of vessels and rummaging, joint cargo examination, and freeing of the port corridors.
