The Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Yemi Cardoso, and Director-General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Dr. Dayo Mobereola, joined family members, dignitaries and sympathisers at the weekend for the final funeral rites of late Chief Mrs. Florence Mutola Oladapo in Ondo town, Ondo State.
The solemn service, held at St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Agbala Maria, Surulere, drew prominent personalities who gathered to pay their last respects and celebrate a life defined by service, compassion and enduring family values.
Tributes at the ceremony extolled the late matriarch’s legacy of community impact and dedication, as speakers described her life as a model of humility, sacrifice and unwavering commitment to humanity.
The funeral was marked by prayers, hymns and emotional reflections, underscoring the deep respect and affection she commanded during her lifetime.
