The Africa Association of Professional Freight Forwarders and Logistics of Nigeria (APFFLON) has applauded the recent leadership developments within the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), congratulating Assistant Comptroller General (ACG) Frank Onyeka on his promotion while celebrating the redeployment of Comptroller Joe Anani to the strategic Tincan Island Port Command.
In a statement signed by its President, Otunba Frank Ogunojemite, APFFLON described the elevation of ACG Frank Onyeka as a well-earned recognition of his commitment, professionalism, and remarkable contributions to the growth and modernization of the Nigeria Customs Service.
The association noted that Onyeka’s promotion reflects the confidence reposed in his competence and leadership capacity, expressing optimism that he would continue to deploy his vast experience and expertise to strengthen customs administration and national economic growth.
APFFLON also congratulated Comptroller Joe Anani on his transfer to the prestigious Tincan Island Port Command, describing the development as a strategic move that would further enhance trade facilitation, operational efficiency, stakeholder engagement, and revenue generation at one of the nation’s busiest port commands.
According to the association, Comptroller Anani’s track record, discipline, and administrative experience position him to deliver effectively in his new role and consolidate on the gains of the command.
The freight forwarding body further commended the Comptroller-General of Customs and the management of the service for what it described as thoughtful and strategic appointments aimed at deepening efficiency and strengthening operations across commands.
APFFLON prayed for wisdom, success, and impactful service delivery for both officers as they assume greater responsibilities in their respective positions.
