Rollens Macfoy Emerges WIMAFRICA Vice President For Anglophone Countries

Mrs. Rollens Macfoy, immediate past President of Women in Maritime Association, Nigeria (WIMA-Nigeria), has been elected African Vice President (Anglophone Countries) of the Women in Maritime Association Africa (WIMAFRICA), marking a significant elevation in her professional and leadership journey within the continental maritime space.

Her emergence followed a keenly contested election held in Douala, Cameroon, in August, where delegates from 27 African countries and chapters converged for the WIMAFRICA General Assembly.

Macfoy’s victory underscores broad continental confidence in her leadership capacity, professional depth and proven record of service to the maritime industry.

Widely regarded as a maritime professional and administrator of exceptional competence, Macfoy concluded her tenure as WIMA-Nigeria President with strong institutional stability, expanded visibility for women in the sector, and a legacy anchored on mentorship, capacity building and inclusiveness.
