The Flag Officer Commanding, Naval Training Command, Real Admiral Istifanus Albara has commended the outgoing Commandant, Nigerian Navy Ship QUORRA, Commodore Adamu Yahaya for his giant strides at the command.
Commodore Yahaya was singled out for commendation during the send forth ceremony held at the Nigerian Navy Ship QUORRA Officers’ Mess.
Real Admiral Albara, the Special Guest of Honor, lauds Commodore Yahaya for the numerous improvements that took place while he was at NNS QUORRA namely: improved training, having a cooperative Naval Force, the NNS QUORRA swimming pool which makes swimming easy for the trainees and accreditation of courses with NIMASA to mention a few.
He wished Commodore Yahaya the very best in his new endeavor and remarked that he has all it takes to excel there.
Applauding the incoming Commandant of NNS QUORRA, Real Admiral Albara said Commodore Benjamin Onalo is a square peg in a square hole that will fit in seamlessly and drive the processes at NNS QUORRA
He enjoins him to continue with the initiatives of his predecessor while creating new ones. He bids the officers and students to give Commodore Onalohis their support for a smooth
In his vote of thanks, Commodore Yahaya expressed his delight at being honored by the staff and students, even as he said he is open to consultation from his successor and charges the students to work hard and have knowledge that will be useful to them, any to Nigeria.
