The Managing Director, Starzs Investments Company Limited, Iroghama Ogbeifun, has been decorated as an ambassador of WIMA-Nigeria.

Iroghama, who is also a Governing Board member of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), was decorated by the African Women in Maritime (WIMA) Nigerian Chapter recently when the President, Mrs. Rollens Macfoy, led her executives on a courtesy visit to Starzs Investments.
Speaking on behalf of the association, the President, Mrs. Rollens Macfoy, reeled out congratulations on Iroghama’s appointment as the NIMASA Board Member as well as her 40th birthday.
Macfoy described the new quadragenarian as an inspiration for young Nigerian women in the maritime sector, even as she commended Iroghama’s visionary leadership and relentless drive for excellence.
“On behalf of the executives and every member of WIMA Nigeria, we celebrate your commitment to advancing women in maritime through cadetship opportunities, strategic mentorship, and your dynamic presence in industry.
“You are a beacon of inspiration for young women navigating traditionally male-dominated waters. At just 40, your accomplishments in the sector as well as your performance as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Starzs Investments Company Limited, has been nothing short of excellence.

“While your recent appointment as a Governing Board Member of NIMASA is a resounding endorsement of your integrity and competence, it is also a win for women in the maritime sector. As we present you this WIMA-Nigeria Ambassador role, we are excited and convinced that it will spur you to make more significant impact for women in Nigeria, across Africa and internationally,” Macfoy said.
A delighted Iroghama thanked the WIMA Nigeria delegation for the honour and assured that the new role will spur her towards attaining more significant feats.
