Emir of Kano, Transport Minister, Others Grace NIPSS 2022 Graduation

Comptroller Nnadi mni, lauds Customs CG, reiterates commitment to NCS

Eminent Nigerian personalities including; the Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero, CFR; Minister of Transportation, Alhaji Mu’azu Jaji Sambo who represented Nigeria’s Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo; Deputy Governor of Plateau State, Prof. Sonni Tyoden; among others graced the 2022 graduation ceremony of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) in Kuru, Plateau State.

Other bigwigs at the ceremony were; the President, Alumni Association of the National Institute (AANI), who is also a former Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Abubakar; the Director General, NIPSS, Prof. Ayo Omotayo; the Secretary/ Director of Administration, NIPSS, Brigadier General UJ Udeaya; Head, Directorate of Studies, NIPSS, Prof. Funmi, Para-Mallam, among others.

NIPSS is the nation’s apex centre for policy, advocacy, research, training and reflection for the attainment of a better Nigerian polity.

Speaking with The News Diet, one of the graduands, Comptroller Dera Nnadi mni, of Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), expressed delight as he stated that he is fulfilled and privileged to have studied at NIPSS.

His words: “I thank God and I will eternally remain grateful to the Comptroller-General of Customs, Col. Ibrahim Hameed Ali (Rtd) and his management team for finding me worthy of attending this course. It is a call to service and I will continue to serve as expected.”

“I’m full of gratitude as I graduate as member of national institute -mni- from the nation’s foremost National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies Kuru Jos. I renew my commitment to Nigeria Customs Service and the integrity of the Nigeria supply chain.”

According to Comptroller Nnadi mni, at NIPSS he learnt valuable skills that will help in further contributing to nation building.

“The most important skill being national cohesion, having been with 88 others from other backgrounds. I have further sharpened my potentials for upholding Service and national integrity,” he posited.
