The well-wishers paid their last respects during the Late matriarch’s funeral service in Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta on Friday.
The media reports that Mama Emadoye was mother to Olorogun James Emadoye, immediate past president, LERSA and the Urhukpe of Agbon Kingdom, Delta State.
He is also Chief Executive Officer (CEO) BSSL Technologies Ltd., member Institute of Software Practitioners of Nigeria (ISPON) among other notable positions.
President LERSA, Chief Sulyman Bello, noted that the entire association expressed their sympathies and showed solidarity with their immediate past president on the passing of his beloved mother.
He stated that LERSA would always stand by Emadoye, offering support and prayers as he navigates this period of grief.
“The association prayed for the peaceful repose of the deceased and urged the family to take solace in her legacy and cherished memories,” Bello said.
Chief Emma Avworo, Secretary, Agbon Traditional Council, Delta State, described the late Emadoye as a caring mother that was dutiful to everyone and had the issues of community development at heart.
“We shall miss her sweet and gentle comportment and generosity and we urge you to please accept our heartfelt condolences and sympathy over the demise of Mama.
“Agbon Traditional Council prays God embrace you and the entire family with the strength and fortitude to bear her irreplaceable loss,” he said.
President, Institute of Software Practitioners of Nigeria (ISPON), Bimbo Abioye, said Mama Emadoye was a family oriented person and widely loved.
He noted her significant contributions to family life and community, saying she would be greatly missed.
“We extend our heartfelt condolence to you and the entire family, rest assured that you are in the thoughts and prayers of ISPON.
“May mama’s soul rest in perfect peace and may the Lord grant the family to bear this irreparable loss,” he said.
In his remarks, Olorogun James Emadoye, the first son of the family, expressed grief at the development, saying even though mama lived long, her passing was unexpected.
He described the late Emadoye as strong willed, dedicated, selfless and a committed mother and wife who brought light to the whole family.
Emadoye said his mother was very pushful in all she believed in, a binding force for all, compassionate, with great finesse and very dependable.
“You held the house firmly since the demise of papa in 1993. See what that your sacrifice of 24 Naira you sent the driver to collect from your debtor for my education has translated to.
“You know Mama, that if money, care and love could keep you here longer with us, you would still be here today.
“For everything you have done, everything you stood for and everything you were to us all, I say thank you, mama,” he said.
The media also reports that the Late Esther Emadoye was a staunch dedicated member of The Roman Catholic Church, a devotee of Blessed Virgin Mary and a pillar of Christian Women Organization (CWO).
