Nigeria’s National Single Window (NSW) platform has officially gone live, marking a major step in the Federal Government’s push to streamline cargo clearance and cut the cost of doing business at the nation’s ports.

Following its formal launch earlier in the week, the digital trade facilitation portal is now fully operational, transitioning from pilot phase to commercial deployment.

To support users, NSW management has opened a dedicated Support Centre at 34 Wharf Road, Apapa, Lagos—strategically located within the country’s busiest port corridor to ensure easy access for industry stakeholders.

In a message to port users, freight forwarders and customs agents, the management highlighted multiple helpdesk channels for remote assistance. Users can call 02018870011, send WhatsApp messages to 07047002215, or email helpdesk@nsw.gov.ng for prompt support.

The management urged stakeholders to utilise the support system, noting that effective onboarding is critical to achieving seamless trade facilitation on the platform.

The National Single Window is a Federal Government initiative designed to centralise port documentation and regulatory processes into a single digital interface, eliminating manual bottlenecks and significantly reducing cargo dwell time.

Its rollout signals a decisive shift toward a more efficient, transparent and globally competitive port system.
