The President of Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Dr. Ike Neliaku has commended Lift Above Poverty Organisation (LAPO) for its sustained commitment to offering assistance to a vital segment of the business community, saying the organisation has become a voice of support for Nigerian entrepreneurs.
Dr. Neliaku who was the Special Guest of Honour at the 32nd Annual LAPO Development Forum 2025 held earlier today in Abuja said the organisation has positioned itself as a catalyst for the renewal of the nation’s entrepreneurial landscape.
While lauding the founder of LAPO, Dr. Godwin Ehigiamusoe for presiding over the organisation’s remarkable growth since the 80s, the NIPR boss emphasised that LAPO has transformed into a major development entity.
Speaking on the Forum’s theme, “Citizen Engagement and Responsive Governance for National Development”, the NIPR President remarked that engaging the citizens is neither a luxury nor a favour but a necessity for national development.
Dr. Neliaku further affirmed that the NIPR would remain committed to promoting strategic communication as a vital tool for governance.
