The Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Dr. Dayo Mobereola, has sent heartfelt greetings to Muslim faithful across Nigeria and beyond on the occasion of Eid el-Fitr, urging citizens to embrace the principles of compassion, discipline, and service to humanity.
Dr. Mobereola described this period as a time of spiritual reflection, selflessness, and renewed dedication to faith and societal wellbeing. He highlighted that the lessons of the season; empathy, sacrifice, unity, and community are essential for promoting national growth and fostering harmony in Nigeria’s diverse society.
He stated, “As we mark the conclusion of the holy month of fasting, may this blessed time of reflection and togetherness inspire gratitude and reinforce our shared bonds. May Eid bring peace, prosperity, and hope to our nation. Let us continue to uphold compassion, discipline, and dedication to the collective good.”
The NIMASA boss also encouraged all Nigerians to carry forward the spirit of charity, empathy, and communal solidarity exemplified during this season, working together to build a safer, stronger, and more prosperous nation.
