Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited has donated a state-of-the-art Command and Control Centre and operational Hilux vehicles to the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) to strengthen security coordination and operational efficiency nationwide.
The facility, unveiled on Thursday in Abuja, is equipped with advanced monitoring systems designed to enhance air, land, and real-time incident surveillance, enabling round-the-clock intelligence gathering and rapid response.
Managing Director of Tantita, Kestin Ebimorbowei, represented by Executive Director, Operations and Technical, Capt. Warredi Enisuoh, said the initiative aligns with the Federal Government’s reform agenda to strengthen economic stability and national security.
Although located in Abuja, Enisuoh noted that the centre’s operational coverage extends across the country, supporting the NSCDC and other security agencies in fulfilling their constitutional mandates through improved technological integration.
He commended NSCDC personnel for protecting Tantita operatives, noting that private security guards are not legally permitted to bear arms. He disclosed that 15 officers lost their lives while working alongside the company and pledged continued support for their families, describing the partnership as highly valued.
NSCDC Commandant-General, Prof. Ahmed Audi, expressed appreciation for the fully furnished facility and two Hilux operational vehicles, announcing that the structure has been named the “Nuhu Ribadu Hydrocarbon and Maritime Security Command and Control Centre.”
Audi said the centre would be integrated with the Office of the National Security Adviser to strengthen intelligence gathering, information sharing, and inter-agency coordination, particularly in hydrocarbon and maritime security. He added that improved data management and credible intelligence dissemination are critical to enhancing national security and economic protection.
Also speaking, Executive Chairman of Zuma Energy Power Ltd, Dr. Innocent Ezuma, announced the donation of an additional building dedicated to VIP protection services. He said the facility would enhance the protection of high-profile individuals while reinforcing Nigeria’s broader security architecture and investor confidence.
