The Founder of NAGAFF, Boniface Aniebonam, announced that the committee will now operate under the new designation and remain domiciled at the association’s headquarters under the Office of the Founder.

According to him, the change reflects a strategic shift toward fostering peace, collaboration, and improved productivity across Nigeria’s ports, in alignment with the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope agenda.

He emphasized that the committee is not targeted at any individual or organization but is designed to support national efforts aimed at strengthening the maritime sector and enhancing trade facilitation.

Industry observers say the move signals NAGAFF’s commitment to constructive engagement and a more inclusive approach to addressing challenges within the port system.
