Area Managers and top managerial officials of the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA) showed up to felicitate with the General Manager, Marine Department, NIWA, Engr. Joseph Ororo as his daughter, Tariemi wedded Anderson Ozakpo at the weekend.
The event was a glamorous one with a thrilling ambience of jubilation with guests adorning varying beautiful shades of orange, peach and white.
While the bride and groom treated the audience with captivating dance sessions and drama; NIWA’s rich delegation equally took ownership of the celebration.
Speaking at the event, the Area Manager of Lagos Area Office, NIWA, Engr. Sarat Braimah congratulated the newly wedded couple and wished them a blissful union filled with prosperity.
While describing the bride’s father as a great personality and an inspiring fellow, she disclosed that Engr. Ororo has been her mentor for more than five years at NIWA.
“Over the years, I was privileged to be lectured and tutored by him at NIWA; today I’m the Area Manager of Lagos Area Office at the Authority. I wish him all the best and I particularly wish the newly wedded couple all the best in life especially the enormous blessings that come with marriage,” Braimah said.
Also speaking, the Manager, Calabar Area Office, NIWA, Engr. Stanley Onuoha said; “I want to say a very big congratulations to the Ororo family as my boss Engr. Joseph Ororo gave out his child for marriage. Today was the highlight of the marriage ceremony and it was a huge success.”
The event was also graced by numerous eminent personalities including a rich delegation of the Presidential Committee on Inland Waterways which has Engr. Joseph Ororo as one it’s members.
