
One of Nigeria’s prominent maritime lawyers and Vice Chairman of Nigerian Ports Consultative Council (NPCC), Mrs. Jean Chiazor Anishere, SAN, has been conferred with the prestigious chieftaincy title of Yeye Ataiyese of Ibodi, Osun state.
The honour was bestowed on Mrs Anishere on Saturday by His Royal Majesty Oba Cornelius Omisade Agboluaje, Otemuyi 1, Oloja of Ibodi.

The Award certificate personally signed by the Oba, acknowledged Mrs. Anishere’s leadership quality, integrity, and as a woman of great worth.
“You have consistently exemplified the quality of leadership, integrity as a distinguished legal luminary, and a woman of substance. Your tireless service and dedication to uplifting the lives of those around you have set a standard for all.

“You are found worthy of this chieftaincy title as a woman of influence and exemplary character, unwavering commitment to community building. You are indeed a beacon of hope and virtue among the women of our society,” the letter read in parts.
The Oba, in the letter, recognised that the chieftaincy title of Yeye Ataiyese is not merely an honour but a testament to Anishere’s relentless efforts and devotion to the betterment of the society.
The grand occasion, which brought together friends, maritime industry stakeholders and loved ones of Mrs. Anishere, SAN, witnessed the celebration of the rich culture and heritage of Ibodi land.
