WIMA-Nigeria President, Macfoy, Joins NPCC Research Development Committee 

The President of African Women in Maritime (WIMA) Nigerian Chapter, Mrs. Rollens Macfoy, has joined the Nigerian Ports Consultative Council (NPCC) as a member of the Research Development Committee.

Macfoy, who is also the Managing Director of Ocean Deep Services Limited, joined the Research Development, Consultancy and Training Committee chaired by Prof. Bamidele Badejo, for its maiden meeting on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, News Diet gathered that she was appointed a member of this Committee since February 4th, 2025, but in her modest way maintained her silence as she quietly worked with the Committee.

Noting that the Committee is ably headed by Professor Bamidele Badejo, a veteran in the matters handed over to the committee, she expressed confidence that the technocrats in the group will be an asset to the NPCC.

Macfoy’s NPCC Letter of Appointment sighted by our correspondent read; “The Board of Nigerian Ports Consultative Council, wish to congratulate you on your appointment as a Member, Research, Development, Consultancy and Training Committee of the NPCC.

“Your outstanding hard work and skills in training have necessitated this nomination and we trust that NPCC will benefit from your admirable track records.

“We pray that God will help you in this national assignment for a successful, remarkable performance and laudable achievement to you and your committee members in repositioning NPCC.”

Other members of the Committee include; the Vice Chairman, Hajia Aisha Ali-Ibrahim; Secretary, Omodehin Oluwafemi; Onyenankeya O.B; Mr. Sesan Ajayi and Ugo Madubuike.
