…Pinkfields Academy celebrates 2024 graduation ceremony
In a bid to ensure talents of Nigerian children are properly harnessed, parents and teachers have been encouraged to give attention to their unique roles in developing the innate skills and passions of children and students.
This admonition was given at the 2024 Graduation and Prize Giving Ceremony of Pinkfields Academy in Satellite Town, Lagos on Thursday.
Speaking at the event, the chairman of the occasion and Chairman of the Federated Maritime Media Chapel (FMMC) under the Lagos State council of Nigeria Union of Journalist (NUJ), Dr. Ovie Edomi, advised parents to discover and nurture the talents of their children.

His words: “Every child has a talent. Don’t underrate or belittle any profession a child wants to undertake. I have 3 children who eventually became professionals in the same fields they told me they wanted to pursue as kids.”
“In this ceremony, we are looking at the future of tomorrow and the hope for the nation. Last year, I was here and I witnessed a display of amazing talents by the children and I made up mind to be here this year knowing that we are breeding the new leaders of tomorrow.”
Earlier, the Proprietress of Pinkfields Academy, Mrs. Osita Ibeke, reminded the graduands to recognize that they are products of the purposeful pursuit of all-round excellence that Academy offers.

“A hearty congratulation dear class of 2024 both the Elementary and the Pre-School respectively. All the years of hard work in school really paid off as you made it all till the end.”
“I salute your resilience and unwavering efforts in leading Elementary school as worthy role models to the younger jewels in the Pre- School. I would also use this medium to appreciate our dads and moms who have been toiling, and working tirelessly in making both provisions and contributions to see you achieve your desired goals, may the Lord keep sustaining them.”
