CSR: Tantita Commissions Reconstructed Army Transit Accommodation In Delta State
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects, Tantita Security Services Nigeria Ltd., has inaugurated the reconstructed 3 Battalion Soldiers’ Transit Accommodation at Effurun Barracks, Delta State.
Capt. Warredi Enisuoh, Executive Director of Operations and Technical at Tantita Security Services Nigeria Ltd said this in a statement on Wednesday.
Enisuoh while commissioning the newly rebuilt soldiers’ transit accomodation narrated his experience in 2012 in Warri and the relevance of the 3-battalion in the region.
“I was in my hotel in Warri in 2012 and heard gunshots, coming out I saw AK 47 bullets up in the sky and this reminds me of the saying that ‘Warri no dey carry last’ and I was told the region was not safe.
“But with the efficacy of government security forces particularly 3-battalion in the region, I have not seen anything like that again and this is because of their presence.
“Most of our partnership has been on crude oil theft, that is what people think, but that is not correct, our contract is based on performance.
“We cannot remove the fact that our performance is based on support by security forces. With that performance comes out salaries and we are grateful to the security forces,” he said.
He noted that the project had been an interesting one, adding that the chairman and vice chairman’s belief was that any project worth doing in this environment must be pursued with vigour.
“I am promising you that it will not end here, we will continue to stand by you as you have stood with us and as you have contributed to the safety of the region,” he said.
The facility was redesigned, reconstructed, and fully furnished before being handed over formally to the Army authorities as at of Tantita’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts.
He noted that the facility is equipped with state-of-the-art amenities designed to enhance the living conditions of soldiers stationed at the barracks.
