Mr. Victor Ihekweazu, President, Business Recovery and Insolvency Practitioners Association of Nigeria (BRIPAN), has bagged the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Lagos branch award of service.
According to a statement made available by BRIPAN on Friday in Lagos, its secretary, Ms Efosa Ewere, was also honoured.
The statement quoted that the Chairman, NBA Lagos Branch, Mr Olabisi Makanjuola, said the award was in recognition of their unwavering professionalism, integrity, and consistent pursuit of excellence.
Makanjuola noted that those qualities had not only contributed significantly to the success of the NBA Lagos branch but had also set a high standard for others to follow.
He said through their hard work, positive attitude, and selfless contributions, the BRIPAN award recipients have made lasting impact that was deeply appreciated.
He also commended BRIPAN president as a worthy ambassador of the branch and extolled his achievements in raising the insolvency law and practice in Nigeria.
On his part, the BRIPAN President, who is also a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, described the award as not just a reflection of his efforts, but also reflected the efforts of the BRIPAN team.
He said their collaboration and commitment was a big part of what made the journey so fulfilling.
“Excellence is not a destination, but a continuous process of striving to do better each day.
“We are inspired to keep giving our best, not just because of awards like this, but because we genuinely believe in the purpose of what we do.
“Thank you again for this honour and we accept it with joy and humility, and look forward to continuing to serve with dedication and integrity,” he said.
