The Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Dr. Dayo Mobereola, has expressed deep condolences to the Chief Executive Officer of Maritime Media Limited, Elder Asu Beks, over the passing of his wife, Mrs. Helen Asu Beks.
In a condolence message, Dr. Mobereola described the death of Mrs. Beks, which occurred on Thursday, November 13, 2025, as a painful and heartbreaking loss, noting that the passing of a wife and mother is a profound test of faith and strength.
He conveyed NIMASA’s sympathy and solidarity with Elder Asu Beks and his family, assuring them of the agency’s prayers and support during the difficult period.
Dr. Mobereola prayed for God’s comfort and strength for the bereaved family, asking the Almighty to grant them the grace to bear the irreparable loss and to grant the departed soul eternal rest.
He reaffirmed that the thoughts and prayers of NIMASA are with the Maritime Media Limited CEO and his family as they navigate the period of mourning.
Meanwhile, a memorable Service of Songs was held in honour of Late Mrs. Helen Asu Beks on Thursday at SunFit hotel, Lagos; while the funeral service and internment are scheduled to hold on Friday, December 19th, 2025 at Shonibare Sports Complex, Surulere, Lagos.
